A couple of years ago, you couldn’t pay me to skip a work out.
Today, I took a break.
It was a long weekend. I didn’t get a lot of sleep and my body was tired.
I didn’t exercise so I ate clean all day and skipped the wine at dinner. I balanced it.
And it’s OK!
You don’t need to work out 7 days a week to see results from your training program.
Off days give your muscles the chance to repair and rebuild even stronger.
Your body will tell you what you need.
You don’t have to workout just because you typically work out on Mondays. Just get back after it tomorrow.
You don’t have to wait until the next appropriate meal time to eat. Have a snack so that your metabolism keeps running.
If you’re tired, rest. If you’re hungry, eat.
Listen to your body.
